Fifty Years of Hope

Since 1973, Newborn Hope has been a lifeline for Colorado’s tiniest fighters funding care, educating clinicians, and supporting families through the NICU journey.

For more than 50 years, Newborn Hope has been a beacon of compassion and strength for families facing the unexpected journey of premature birth. From providing direct financial assistance to empowering hospitals and NICU teams with critical resources, we’ve stood alongside more than 150,000 families across Colorado.

Together with our donors, sponsors, and volunteers, we’ve raised over $5 million to support at-risk mothers and premature infants. Every gift, every program, and every act of generosity brings us closer to our vision: healthier beginnings and brighter futures for Colorado’s tiniest babies.

Real Families. Real Impact

Three babies. Three intensive journeys. One family doing everything they could to stay afloat.

“We didn’t know what to expect — let alone the world of multiples and prematurity,” Chelsey shared.

With Nora needing heart surgery, no maternity leave, and the unexpected loss of her job, the pressure became unbearable. But just days before the surgery… something arrived.

A gas card from Newborn Hope.

“That card meant we could focus on our daughter instead of how we were going to get to Denver.”

It wasn’t just fuel. It was a moment of relief. A sign they weren’t alone.

“Newborn Hope has been a beacon of light for families navigating the challenging journey of premature birth. They provide critical support, from financial assistance for the needs of infants and family, such as specialized equipment, therapies, daily living expenses to advocacy that helps parents cope with the emotional toll. Their programs help these vulnerable tiny fighters get the specialized care they need as they transition to home as well as offering educational resources to empower families with knowledge about prematurity.”

“We are incredibly grateful to Newborn Hope for sponsoring this year’s Kangaroo-a-thon by donating a beautiful prize basket for our top participant. Your generous contribution became one of the most talked-about incentives of the event and sparked enthusiasm and friendly competition among families and staff alike.”
